Terms of Service

This page is a reference translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the conditions for using the mind-mapping app "mind masters" ("Service") provided by S2 Co., Ltd. (the operator of mind masters; "we/us"). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Service)

1. The Service provides mind-map creation, sync, sharing, and co-editing features available with a LINE account.
2. The Service is currently free. Some features may become paid in the future, in which case we will announce it in advance.

Article 2 (Account)

1. Using the Service requires logging in with a LINE account.
2. You are responsible for properly managing your own LINE account.

Article 3 (Your Data)

1. Rights to the content of mind maps you create belong to you.
2. Map data is encrypted on your device before being stored on our servers, and we cannot view its content. See the Privacy Policy for details.
3. If you share a co-editing invite link with others, anyone who knows the link can view and edit the map. You use this feature with that understanding.

Article 4 (Prohibited Conduct)

You must not:

• violate laws or public order and morals;
• create or share content that infringes third-party rights (copyright, privacy, etc.);
• place excessive load on the Service's servers or network, or attempt unauthorized access;
• interfere with the operation of the Service.

Article 5 (Changes and Suspension)

1. We may change, suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice to users.
2. Upon termination, we will endeavor to announce it in advance where possible and to provide a period for data migration.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

1. The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee its completeness, accuracy, or availability.
2. Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages (including data loss) arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service.
3. For important data, we recommend keeping your own backups via PNG export, text copy, etc.

Article 7 (Amendments)

We may amend these Terms as necessary. Amended Terms take effect when posted on the Service.

Article 8 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our location as the court of first instance.
